FROM THE CHAIRMAN BSS VI
First of all, I would like to thanks to director of Melaka Hospital , Dr. Hj.
Abu Bakar b Mahammud and Head of Department Mr. Safian b Hj. Naim for their support to bi-annually event of this Surgical
Department. All young doctors should be taught on how to choose and handle the instruments correctly. This can only be achieved
by attending proper workshop under supervision from qualified and trained individuals. Surgical Department Hospital Melaka
has been organising this workshop since year 2000. Our aim is to provide our doctors , paramedics and nurses the right and
proper technique of surgical skills . It is our responsibility to make sure our future surgeons are well equipped with technically
correct skills in performing surgical related procedures to the benefit of our patient.. I hope all the participants will
inherit some good parctice from this two day courses and eventually apply it in their virtual life. I also would like
to give my highest appreciation to all committee members and facilitators including our main sponsors B. Braun & Aesculop
for their continue support and hard work .
